FLW - The New York Summit
FLW - The New York Summit is a significant legal tech conference organized by Cosmonauts, hosted in New York. This event is part of a global series, including conferences in the UK, Africa, and Singapore. I led the rebranding effort for the conference, producing diverse assets like the website, posters, roll-up banners, and social media visuals. My role expanded to cover the whole Future Lawyer Week Series, involving assets preparation, website maintenance, advertising, and social media management leading up to the event.
THE CHALLENGE -The existing brand design lacked consistency across the events series and had become antiquated. I was tasked with revitalizing its aesthetic and establishing a contemporary visual identity. Additionally, I was required to develop graphics and layouts that could be seamlessly incorporated into the other two events within the series, each possessing its unique assets and characteristics.
DESIGN - I addressed the challenge by anchoring the branding around the iconic New York skyline, a versatile element that could seamlessly transition to the London and Singapore skylines for the remaining events in the series. This strategy ensured a consistent visual thread while allowing for location-specific adaptations.
After selecting a suitable color palette, I embarked on the creation of a diverse range of assets essential for the event's success. These assets were strategically divided into four primary categories: the event website, digital assets for online dissemination (including social media content, digital brochures, and package offers), print deliverables (comprising event booklets, posters, and banners), and supplementary assets (such as exhibitor manuals, delegate badges, and digital promotional banners). By retaining the skyline as a core element, the design maintained its elegance while ensuring instant recognition and coherence across various materials. The nomenclature of the event underwent alterations over the course of the year, accounting for the observed variations in the name.
